See the stack of charges on a round-trip trade, and compare default retail plans without crowning a winner.
The number on an order ticket is not the cost of trading. Brokerage is only one line. STT, exchange charges, GST, SEBI turnover fees and stamp duty sit on top, and they differ for delivery, intraday and derivatives.
Finaura compares publicly advertised default retail plans as of the verification date on the calculator. Brokers change tariffs. Paid “prime” plans are out of scope. The output is a cost difference for the trade you typed, not a verdict that one broker is best.
Each tool shows the formula, assumptions and a short explanation. Numbers stay in your browser.
Equity delivery and equity intraday do not share the same STT treatment or the same typical brokerage. Enter the segment you actually trade in the brokerage calculator. Mixing them produces a comforting number that does not match the contract note.
The calculator shows a last-verified date. If your broker has published new rates since then, trust the broker’s charges page. The charges guide explains each levy in plain language so the breakdown is readable.
Read the explanation, then run the matching calculator with your own numbers.
